Our Origin Story
Back to the future--1967
On Ma Ma Gert and Pa Pa Callie’s farm in Waxhaw, NC, I conducted my first study in 1967: an animal bonding study with chickens. It was the first time I stayed up all night.
By the age of 12, I had written 127 studies in my Journal of Mind and Knowledge, which I believe I first published in 1965.

Founded in 1988 as C. Harold McManus & Associates, PROBE Consulting Company, LLC consists of social scientists, educators, business leaders, and communication experts focused on enhancing outcomes through collaboration and research. Our initial work involved DOS-based programs for Ph.D. candidates, which streamlined data collection and processing for SPSS-X, saving significant time in analysis. We're still innovating today!
